With the CONTRL WordPress plugin, you can easily integrate your CONTRL online store directly into your WordPress website. Simply add a button using the block editor, and your customers can open and browse your online store in a convenient pop-up window, without leaving your website. It is a simple and efficient way to create a seamless shopping experience for your customers.

Minimum Requirements
- WordPress 6.6 or greater.
- PHP 7.4 or greater.
Automatic installation
Automatic installation is the easiest option — WordPress will handle the file transfer, and you won’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of the plugin, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu, and click “Add New.”
In the search field type “Contrl” then click “Search Plugins.” Once you’ve found the plugin, you can install it by clicking “Install Now,” and WordPress will take it from there.
Manual installation
Manual installation method requires downloading the plugin and uploading it to your web server via your favorite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here.
Getting started
- Activate the plugin.
- Edit the page or post where you want the button and insert the Contrl pop-up block.
- In the block settings sidebar, enter your CONTRL shop URL. This is required: the button is only shown on your site once a URL is set. Optionally set the pop-up title and height.
- Type the button label directly in the block and publish.
Updating
Automatic updates should work smoothly, but we still recommend you back up your site.
