WordPress has basic support for exporting / importing posts, but if you only want to bring taxonomies across, it has nothing. This handy plugin lets you do that. Nice job, and many thanks! It may not have been updated in a while, but still working very well on WordPress 6.6 in 2024. There are PHP deprecation warnings in PHP 8.3 (and likely 8.2) but they are only warnings. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/41d86f6aeab41087a16bf3cc184ed2e0f3ad80d8a74fbd2e5278225972984a78? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Very useful, works as intended](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/very-useful-works-as-intended/)󠁿 [kocsisjozsef](https://profiles.wordpress.org/kocsisjozsef/) 30 Juni 2021 Had to export Woocommerce categories, this plugin was just the perfect tool. The export format can be used with the default Wordpress importer, so there is no need to install anything on the importer side. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/4a5e6ac59cad00124d2f2ae54158fac9e4728f4d6e1ac25a3c4e5cd93824d047? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Great ,simple and working perfectly](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/great-simple-and-working-perfectly/)󠁿 [Ahmednhussein](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ahmednhussein/) 12 Februari 2021 when I saw date 7 years ago, I was going to skip it but reviews encouraged me to try it. and really thanks it is working great and simple.
